1. The best song of 2017 was 1-800-273-8255 by Logic. I chose this as the best song of 2018 because although it wasnt my favorite it was a very groundbreaking song. Not only was it very popular and catchy but it brings up a very sensitive topic. Its a very moving song that forces people to discuss suicide.



2. The best movie of 2017 was Get Out the plot was amazing and the idea behind was really clever. I dont know about other people but I was completely thrown off by the ending. The concept makes your skin crawl and it also gives you many things to think about.


3. I think the most important news story was the announcement of Donald Trump winning the election regardless of whether you like him or not.  His presidency is what will change things over the course of the next four years.  And it sets the year up for what kinds of things are going to occur during the year.


4.In my opinion the most important person of 2017 was yet again Donald Trump regardless of liking or disliking him.  He will be in charge of the country for the next four years and will help make decisions for the country.  So whether you agree with him or not he plays a very big role in our lives.


5. I think the most important in sports for 2017 is Colin Kaepernick.  He started a large movement by kneeling at a football game during the national anthem.  Many people were shocked and some even outraged. Along these people tho many also decided to join him.


Over my break during new years met my nephew and spent a lot of time with him. Hes 6 and I loved bonding with him and getting to know him because I think hes super adorable.  My goal for 2018 like lots of other people is to eat healthier. Im looking forward to summer of 2018 especially now that I can drive.
