9/11 Composition

Simplicity
In this photo the the tower is centered snd is the direct focus in the photo.  It is against a plain blue sky which makes the the colors of the explosions stand out.

Rule of Thirds
I chose this photo for the rule of thirds because the subject of the photo, the man in the foreground is placed in the bottom right corner against a simple background.

Lines
In this photo the building is covered in vertical lines that all lead to the hole in the building which brings attention to it as the focus point of the photo.

Balance
This photo shows balance because there are two structures on both sides of the photo which evens out the photograph.  Also the bridge creates some geometric shapes and has diagonal lines leading towards the second structure in the photo.

Framing
In this picture the fireman climbing a ladders is the focus of the photo and he is framed by the debris of a broken window of one of the towers. The framing adds depth and brings more attention to the firefighter.

Example of a Merger
This photo shows a merger because the police officer in the foreground is merged with the metal pole in the background that looks like its running through his head.
